Michael Rozen is an artist based in so called Vancouver, Canada, which exists on the traditional unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. His work grapples with the worsening impacts of humans on our ecosystems, bearing witness to a range of psychological responses to climate change. This collection grew from the act of painting as healing in order to restore mental health and promote reciprocity with our planet. As the paintings evolved, the studio became a place to translate daydreams, conceptual research, and conversations about the future into an ongoing cathartic process that has been both humbling and galvanizing.

Michael has made 5 reproductions of this piece available through Art of Arlo.

Using the Giclée printing process and its archival, pigment based inks, this combination results in a quality finish on 350 gsm poly/cotton blend canvas. A protective coating is applied to ensure longevity.
